JC has established seven primary committees. Each committee addresses pressing issues, and includes human trafficking, prevention, child welfare, education, juvenile justice, mental health, and homelessness. These areas allow focused efforts on the concerns most prevalent to Jefferson County residents and service providers. Many of the committees have garnered the attention of officials around the state as innovative and progressive.
If you are interested in obtaining more information about a committee or how you can become involved, please contact Amy Sciangula at or 720-244-4848. Committees are always open to the public so please stop by and become a part of the collaborative work happening in the county.
Please check the main page throughout the month to see when each committee meets.
